University library personnel and information literacy training: from self-perception to realities and training challenges

This study provides an empirical diagnosis of the perceptions of university library staff in Spain regarding their training and competence in information literacy (INFOLIT). Using data gathered via a qualitative questionnaire, completed within the context of an online INFOLIT training course, the current situation was analysed and training challenges identifi ed.
