This study provides an empirical diagnosis of the perceptions of university library staff in Spain regarding their training and competence in information literacy (INFOLIT). Using data gathered via a qualitative questionnaire, completed within the context of an online INFOLIT training course, the current situation was analysed and training challenges identifi ed.
