We give a conceptual introduction to the holographic manybody theory based on the similarity and universality of the quantum critical points and the black holes. When applied to Dirac materials like graphene and surface state of a topological insulator, the new method gives remarkable agreements between the theory and experiments in an island of parameter space where strong correlation arise through formation of the small fermi surface.
