Polymer solar cells (PSCs) are attracting attention as a nextgeneration energy source because they have the potential to provide mobile renewable energy at a low cost, lightweight and flexible. In this article, we focus on polymer acceptors that are emerging as an alternative solution to fullerene-based solar cells that suffer from long-term stability problems, and discuss the progree of devices and materials for all-polymer solar cells.
