We introduce research activities on terahertz (THz) technologies of time domain spectroscopy/T-ray imaging and wireless data transfer. Investigation of materials and package modules for THz wave generation and detection, and setup of the THz systems for time domain spectroscopy(TDS), T-ray imaging, and sub-THz wireless communication are main topics of the THz research field. We have developed a table-top scale THz-TDS/imaging system and terahertz continuous wave(CW) generators for THz communications and T-ray imaging. Poly-GaAs films as a photoconductive switching antenna material, dielectric properties of ferroelectric BSTO films at the THz frequency range, and terahertz wave Transmitter/Receiver (Tx/Rx) device package modules have been studied also.
