Journalistic essay: a didactic proposal

Considering the problems that occur in the teaching and learning of the journalistic essay in the career of Social Communication and the importance of this text in the practice of that profession, a didactic proposal is formulated in order to make explicit the expectations, to establish basic and concrete elements for the writing and evaluation on this essay and to increase the students as well as the professors satisfaction with the results of the educational process. Dados los problemas que plantea la enseñanza y el aprendizaje del ensayo periodístico en la carrera de Comunicación Social y la importancia de este texto para el ejercicio de esa profesión, se formula una propuesta didáctica a fin de hacer explícitas las expectativas de los docentes, establecer elementos básicos y concretos para la realización y evaluación de este texto, y aumentar la satisfacción tanto de los estudiantes como de los profesores con los resultados del proceso educativo.
