In this study the epiphytic bryophyte flora and vegetation of the Bucak Sweetgum Forest Nature Park and Karacaoren Dams Environment (Burdur, Turkey) were investigated between 2012 and 2013. We identified 221 bryophyte specimens collected from tree trunks; a total of 37 bryophyte taxa (8 liverworts and 29 mosses) belonging to 19 genera and 15 families were identified. As a result of the evaluation of 29 releves of different sizes taken from trunks using the Braun-Blanquet method, Leptodonto smithii-Leucodontetum sciuroidis and Cryphaeetum arborae (with both subassociation typicum and subassociation orthotrichetosum diaphani) belonging to the Fabronion pusillae alliance were recorded for the first time from Turkey. The life forms and life strategies of the syntaxa were analyzed.
