The genus Orientopius Fischer, 1966 (Hymenoptera: Braconidae: Opiinae) is reported for the first time from continental China and a new species (O. punctatus sp. n.) is described from Hunan. Orientiopius tambourinus Fischer, 1966, is transferred back to the genus Orientopius. A key to the Indo-Australian species is added
