The unusual male and female structures in Tancitares michoacanus Chamberlin, l942, inadequately documented in the original description, are redescribed and illustrated from type material. The species is reported from a locality in Colima, Mexico, the second known for this species. Pararhachistes Pocock, 1909, is suggested as a possible closely related taxon.
