Bibliometric analysis is used to assess scientific research through quantitative studies on research publications and citations. Bibliometric indicators may be used for developing bibliometric networks. Bibliometric indicators are often used for visualization of results of the analysis. As a result of their graphical visualization, bibliometric maps are created. They represent the structure of elements under analysis and relations between metadata of publications (authors, institutions, keywords, scientific categories, citations, etc.), as well as show how strong the relations are. A number of universal and specialized programmes for visual representation of networks have been created; they are used to visualise the results of bibliometric analysis. This paper presents the main indicators of bibliometric analysis, stages of graphical representation; it also presets the programmes Pajek and VOSviewer that may be used for developing and graphically representing bibliometric networks.Article in Lithuania
