Preventive care of Pressure Ulcers have been increasingly enhanced, especially in the care of critically ill patients because they are exposed to intrinsic and extrinsic risk factors to develop them.Objective: To show the contributions of scientific productions for the Prevention of Pressure Ulcers in Intensive Care Units.Methods: Study of an integrative literature review held in April 2016. For the survey of the articles discussing the preventive action of pressure ulcers in critically ill patients, electronic searches were carried out in LILACS, SCIELO, and BDENF.Results: The sample consisted of nine studies that allow the preparation of a summary of care, education, and management, fundamental actions for a culture of prevention injuries.Conclusion: The study allowed summarizing the main care to guide the clinical practice of nurses in the daily care to critical patients.
