Journal of Humanity and Social Justice, 1 (2), 145-167. The community considers that the portrait of our education world is increasingly opaque. Education lately is considered loaded with intellectualistic and materialistic content, which overrides the moral values of culture and character in shaping the character of students, resulting in students who are smart but immoral. This fact is a challenge for educators and practitioners of education, including being a challenge for the Indonesian people. Research was carried out in Konawe Islands Regency and employed qualitative methods. The results showed that integrity of character values towards learning models, placing the position of principals and teachers as determinant factors. The research findings revealed that some teachers, especially at the junior and senior high school / vocational education level, were able to apply the study of character values integrity through learning models, which then produced the characters needed both as students and as members of society, such as hard work, creative independent, curiosity in the problembased learning model.
