The article examines the virulence of the isolation of wheat yellow rust (Puccina striiformis f.sp. tritica), one of the main problems of the grain industry, from Bekabad district of Tashkent region of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The racial formula of the disease sample was found to be 239E242 in terms of virulence, and the virulence of this race relative to genes using isogenic lines known to contain genes responsible for yellow rust disease.
