Male patient of 19 years old from the Province of Los Santos, with a past medical history of hearing loss in the right ear and generalized seizures for which he received treatment during three weeks with Lamotrigine, furthermore presents progressing symptoms during seven days characterized by malaise, asthenia, adynamia, unmeasured intermittent fever, bilateral conjunctivitis associated to gradual appearance of generalized erythema and purpuric macules initially and predominantly on face, neck, trunk and proximal upper extremities in addition to generalized pruritus and skin sensitivity. During hospitalization the lesions disseminate to the rest of the body surface accompanied by blisters with clear content, areas of epidermal detachment and mucose involvement; initially covering less than 10% of body surface area and then progressing quickly to more than 80% of body surface area in less than 24 hours. He was transferred to the Intensive Care Unit and had a favorable evolution.
