LA IRRUPCIÓN DEL ARTE CONCRETO-INVENCIÓN EN EL CAMPO ARTÍSTICO DE BUENOS AIRES (1942-1948)

espanolEl presente articulo reconstruye y analiza la posicion ocupada por los miembros de la Asociacion Arte Concreto-Invencion (AACI) en el campo artistico de Buenos Aires entre 1942 y 1948, haciendo foco en el modo de insercion de los artistas en ese espacio jerarquizado de lucha. Tomando como principal herramienta teorico-metodologica la sociologia de la cultura de Pierre Bourdieu, se presenta una reconstruccion del estado del campo artistico en el momento en que irrumpen los artistas concretos y una configuracion relacional de las posiciones y esteticas dominantes del periodo, asi como tambien de las estrategias desplegadas por los artistas de la AACI durante los primeros anos de su trayectoria artistica. A partir de la recuperacion de estas estrategias se realiza, asimismo, una comparacion con las acciones de ruptura desplegadas por los artistas de la generacion anterior durante los anos 20, y una cara cterizacion de las particularidades que presenta la estructura del campo de la produccion artistica en la Argentina en cada momento historico. EnglishThis article reconstructs and analyzes the position occupied by the members of the Art Concrete-Invention Asociation (AACI) in the artistic field of Buenos Aires during 1942-1948, focusing on the ways of artists’ insertion in that hierarchical space of struggles. Using the theoretical and methodological tools of the cultural sociology developed by Pierre Bourdieu, we present a reconstruction of the art field state when the concrete artists burst in and a relational configuration of the dominant positions and aesthetics of the period, as well as of the strategies employed by the AACI artists in the early years of their careers. Since the recovery of these strategies we also make a comparison with the rupture actions undertaken by the artists of the previous generation during the 20s, and a characterization of the peculiarities of the artistic production field’ structure in Argentina in each historical period.
