The Program of Permanent Education (Udelar) was created in 1994. His goal is to offer with training and refresher courses and to promote professional activities for university graduates and the society, in general. In the Faculty of Sciences (FC) this program started in 1998, focusing mainly on its graduates. Currently, the Permanent Education Unit (UDEP) of FC has been consolidated increasing the number of courses and teaches ways. Also, the public was increased in participation and   the diversity levels of education and focus of interest. In 2018 and 2019, students and graduate university conformed only by third of the students, increasing the participation of teachers and students from ANEP and other careers. Almost the 95% of students have a high performance and express that these courses were very useful to their professional and academic lives. All these mentioned aspects encouraging us to make this article to show the relevance of this Program in FC. In account  that 100% of the evaluations indicate high interest in following this courses to improve the updating we consider necessary to offer more courses as a answer to the demand and divulgate more all the information about this tool to learning.
