Leachate is a liquid caused by waste due to the entry of external water that can dissolve dissolved materials. Analysis of the parameters in a leachate requires special analysis so we need a simple monitoring of the quality of the leachate produced by a landfill. Monitoring activities can be done by measuring the physical, chemical parameters in the leachate. Surface Response Methodology in this study uses Minitab® 17. Minitab® 17 is a computer program designed to perform statistical processing. This makes it easier for users to understand the relationship between parameters. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between Physical and Chemical Parameters in leachate physics parameters such as Temperature and TSS. Biological parameters such as E.Coli. From the results of the study there is a correlation between temperature, pH and TSS on E.coli. Each parameter correlates with each other and shows a positive relationship that is if one parameter increases, the other parameters will also increase, and there is a high coefficient of determination R-Squared for all functional relationships. Based on the results of the study obtained another monitoring parameter that is much simpler, easily applied at the landfill namely Temperature, pH and TSS to determine the value of concentration and E.Coli with Response Surface Methodology and using the Minitab® 17 application.
