The article explores the emotional security of an information-andcommunication-oriented educational environment based on blog-technologies. The spread and the massive use of the Internet forces educators to involve students in training activities via educational settings based on services of this global network. Emotional security of such an environment becomes a must as the accomplishment of tasks and communication offered in this environment are different from those in classical in-class education and can contribute to students’ anxiety and fear. We attempted to find an answer to the question: What emotions do students experience when being taught in an educational environment based on blog-technologies? The methods of the study included relevant studies overview, synthesis, matching, questionnaire, observation, interviews, students’ academic activity analysis, and visual representations of the results. The author singled out basic problems generated in this new setting and offered recommendations for the students’ behavior interventions with the purpose of minimizing negative emotions. It is of interest that the education-and-communication environment under study has not been examined from the perspective of emotional security so far. The findings in this study can be applied in organizing comfort conditions for students’ training in different educational environments based on other Internet-technologies.
