Specific Features of Personality Psychological Wellbeing in Situations of Uncertainty

The aim of the paper resides in identifying characteristics of psychological wellbeing substance in situations of uncertainties. The authors carried out a comprehensive analysis of the content structure of personality psychological wellbeing during the midlife period. This structure embraces high social adjustment, high meaningfulness of life, life purposes, and high resilience. The data obtained testify to the fact that marriage satisfaction contributes to the psychological wellbeing of the individual in the midlife period. In a changing multinational world of uncertainty, people will perceive a situation in a different way: an adaptation to it; a strive for security and a departure from the indefiniteness; consent to simplified life prospects; and, on the contrary, insights into and explorations of uncertainty and the changing world’s complexities. The aim of the paper resided in identifying characteristics of psychological wellbeing substance in situations of uncertainties. The authors carried out a comprehensive analysis of the content structure of personality psychological wellbeing during the midlife period. This structure embraces high social adjustment, high meaningfulness of life, life purposes, and high resilience. The data obtained testified to the fact that marriage satisfaction contributes to the psychological wellbeing of the individual in the midlife period. The examination of married respondent’s self-awareness resulted in revealing a link between the self-image characteristics, an understanding of spouse’s actions and behavior, marriage satisfaction and family’s features that define family wellbeing. These data showed that married respondents were happier with their inner world, family and interpersonal relations. It is these aspects that contribute to the meaning of life. The respondents exhibited high resilience. The three well-pronounced components of control, involvement in risk-taking provide the opportunity to maintain health, optimal productivity, and activity under stress and uncertainty. One more finding was that the stable and differentiated self-image provides an age basis for creating a well-to-do family.
