espanolLa infeccion del tracto urinario es un importante problema de salud. La infeccion urinaria causada por microorganismo del genero Salmonella es rara y se asocia a enfermedades inmunosupresoras. Presentamos el caso de una paciente con antecedente de Diabetes Mellitus que presenta molestias urinarias y urocultivo positivo a Salmonella no tiphy. Con el avance de la medicina y el aumento de procesos inmunospuresores puede verse con mayor frecuencia este tipo de patologias. EnglishUrinary tract infection is a major health problem. Urinary infection caused by a microorganism of the genus Salmonella is rare and is associated with immunosuppressive diseases. We present the case of a patient with a history of Diabetes Mellitus that presents urinary discomfort and positive urine culture to Salmonella no tiphy. With the advancement of medicine and the increase in immunosuppressive processes, this type of pathologies can be seen more frequently.
