This article refers to an analysis of the need for awareness regarding current social paradigms, the urgency of reflecting on new thought patterns, associated with the challenges they represent for humanity. Review these challenges from the educational, economic and social perspective, and the way in which these elements maintain a close relationship between the ways of acting, producing and being in society. In it, aspects that intervene from a contextual nature are addressed and the need to search from education, economy and community for sustainable schemes of life and concordance with the needs of our environment.
