The Final Year Project 1 (PTA1) subject is the core project proposal and the initial implementation of the project. However, there are most frequently challenges faced by students who find themselves lacking in internal motivation and difficulty in understanding abstract subjects due to conventional learning approach by educators. The aim of this study was to develop a Project Based Learning Module (M-PBPj) for the Final Year Project subjects (PTA1) and evaluate its impact on students' intrinsic motivation level. The design of this study utilized quantitative methods through quasiexperimental treatment and control groups. This study involved 91 students denotes as sample at a Slim River Vocational College in Perak, Malaysia. The quasi-experiments were used in the study as this method capable to show the effect of the use of variables over two pre and post time periods. The efficacy of M-PBPj was assessed through paired and unpaired t-test using the Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) questionnaire. Researchers recommend that the use of M-PBPj be used in the teaching and learning process for the subjects of the Year 1 Project (PTA1) in order to enhance the students' intrinsic motivation level.
