Article Info Abstract Article History Submitted, 18 September 2019 Accepted, 26 September 2019 Published, 30 September 2019 Autistic children often have problems with their behavior, one of which is hyperactivity. Children with autism and hyperactivity both have problems with concentration problems. Autistic and hyperactive children often experience difficulties in school, at home, and the environment. Children are often seen as naughty and often experience rejection from family and friends and find it difficult to communicate. Hypnotherapy and healing touch is one of the therapies by giving suggestions combined with touch therapy which is expected to reduce the level of hyperactivity in children with autism. This study aims to determine the effect of hypnotherapy and touch healing on hyperactive behavior in autistic children in SLBN Ungaran. This study uses quasiexperimental research (Quasi experiment) with one group pretest-post-test design. The sample in this study was 15 autistic children and the treatment time of each sample was 30 minutes a day. There is a significant difference in hyperactive behavior before and after hypnotherapy and healing to hyperactive behavior of children with autism in SLB N Ungaran with p value = 0,000 (α = 0.05). It is hoped that schools can apply hypnotherapy and healing touch techniques to reduce hyperactive behavior in children with special needs.
