Impresa 2412-5733) / ISSN (online) 2413-970X Discursos sobre los roles De las mujeres en perióDicos tarijeños 88 women in local newspapers in the city of Tarija, Bolivia during the third decade of the twentieth century, a period that corresponds to the development of the Chaco War. Methodologically, there was an approach to two newspapers of the time. Among the results achieved, traditional gender roles are recognized, as well as roles established by sociology and psychology regarding women. The evidence of a historically situated link, where women being unionazed incorporates them into the productive sphere as well as the journalistic line of each print generates a diverse discourse on them and highlights the importance of the role of women at the time.
