El presente articulo constituye uno de los resultados de la investigacion que aborda la reafirmacion profesional en la formacion del profesor. La misma pertenece al Proyecto de Orientacion Profesional, en particular, a la sublinea que aborda la formacion integral del estudiante, que se desarrolla en la Universidad de Camaguey “Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz”. La actual propuesta pretende congregar los principales fundamentos epistemicos relacionados con el proceso de formacion profesional del profesor. Ello a partir de una sistematizacion teorica, en la que se analizan terminos desde la perspectiva abordada por diferentes autores, lo que, unido al empleo de otros metodos de investigacion, permitio afrontarlo desde una vision mas contemporanea, para una comprension del objeto atemperada a la realidad. De esta manera se precisan insuficiencias que pueden ser perfeccionadas en aras de formar los profesores que la sociedad actual necesita. ABSTRACT This article constitutes one of the research results which deals about the professional reaffirmation in the initial pedagogical training. It belongs to the Professional orientation project and the sub-line for research that approaches the general training of this kind of student, at the University of Camaguey “Ignacio Agramonte Loynaz". The current proposal pretends to gather the main epistemological foundations related to the process of the pedagogical training. It emphasizes on the theoretical systematization, in which an analysis of terminologies is carry out from different perspectives; together with the use of other research methods, made possible to face up tempered to reality. That’s why some insufficiencies are specified that can be improved.  KEY WORDS: Training, professional training, integral training, initial pedagogical training.
