The article that is presented is aimed at improving the system of professional practice of the careers of the Faculty of Education Sciences of the Laica Eloy Alfaro de Manabi University (Uleam). The same has presented serious deficiencies to consequences of the absence of a holistic conception of pre-professional practice, as a component of the training process of students, future professionals. In this sense, it is proposed to determine the components that sustain the system of pre-professional practice from the substantive functions as a fundamental way to raise the quality of the graduate and the academic efficiency of the Faculty of Educational Sciences of Uleam. For this, the methods used in this research are quantitative and qualitative. Hence, with the research it was possible to implement a system of integrating professional practice through a proposal that supports the development of the same.
