The organizational environment has demanded useful and timely information in its processes. To do so, you can seek support in management accounting and information systems designed to support data analysis. The objective of this study is to investigate the improvements in business processes with the use of information made available to users through the Business Intelligence (BI) information system. It is a descriptive research, with a qualitative approach, developed through a single case study in a printing industry that implemented the BI system. The results indicate that the main improvements in business processes are identified in the improvement and creation of internal controls, in the alignment of business processes with the company's objectives and in the establishment of a culture of professionalization. There was an active participation of management accounting in the modeling of data used by the BI system, mainly in the standardization of registrations in the company's ERP system.
