Transplante de órgãos na persepctiva da comissão intra-hospitalar de doação de órgãos e tecidos / Organ transplantation in the perspective of the intra-hospital committee for organ and tissue donation

Objective: to unveil the factors that interfere in the acquisition of organs in the perspective of the Intra-Hospital Committee for Organ and Tissue Donation. Method: the study was characterized as a research with qualitative, descriptive, exploratory approach, through thematic analysis. The study subjects were members of the team for organ acquisition, composed of doctors, nurses, social workers and psychologists. Results: The data were collected in a midand high-complexity hospital with macro-regional setting. The data resulted in the construction of two categories: the inter-relations and approaching the family, and potentialities and weaknesses in organ acquisition. Conclusion: The study shows the importance of establishing strategies of interpersonal communication, as well as of the interaction of the acquisition team in caring for the family members of potential donors.
