Death / dying process is still little debated and questioned among nursing professionals in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, even though it is a phenomenon that is present in the daily life of the service. Objective: To identify nursing actions for parents on neonatal loss and to know the role of nurses in this context. Methodology: This is an integrative review carried out through the Virtual Health Library, including the Latin American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences databases, Nursing Database and Scientific Electronic Library Online.
