Healthcare-related infections are considered infectious multicausal syndromes, which receive negative and positive influences from the environment, considering in this perspective the physical environment and all that surrounds it and the technologies of care, therefore, we understand this syndrome as the whole. of clinical manifestations presented and reported by patients after hospitalization in a health institution, where they certainly seek in the hospital environment the diagnosis and treatment, but often are affected by infections that could have been prevented.
