This research aimed to evaluate the work process of teams, focusing especially on socioorganizational accessibility using advanced reception, a new strategy that emerges in primary care. This is a descriptive exploratory field study with a qualitative and quantitative approach developed at the André Luiz II Unit, in the city of Patos de Minas, in 2018. Two questionnaires were applied, one before the implementation of advanced care and increased number of shared consultations, and another after the implementation of the new system, which asked about the satisfaction of both the population and the FHS regarding the services offered. The sample questioned was a total of 77 people, 63 belonging to the population and 14 to the FHS. A comparative analysis of the results before and after the project shows that there was a general improvement in the services provided by UBS in both users' and FHS's opinion. Thus, we note the effectiveness of this new approach in primary care and the benefits it has brought to the UBS in question.
