ISSN 2595-6825 4428 Introduction: Facial fractures, especially jaw fractures occur very frequently and are often diagnosed in the emergency room due to topography, anatomy and projection in the lower third of the face, a jaw is frequently affected by trauma, resulting in fractures , mainly due to traffic accidents, aggressions, falls or temporary sports. As mandibular fractures can lead to great aesthetic and flexible damages. Objective: To demonstrate a prevalence of mandible in relation to the Buccomaxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology Service (CTBMF) of the Padre Bento Hospital Complex in Guarulhos, with its treatment modalities. Method: The records of patients from the Padre Bento Hospital Complex of Guarulhos between 2016 and 2018 with the diagnosis of mandible fracture, age of consultation, gender and etiology and their treatment forms were included. . Results: The most affected jaw sites were Branch 27.96%, Angle 19.35%, Body 15.05%, Parasinphysis 13.98%, Symphysis 12.90% and Condyle 10.75%. According to the type of treatment proposed for each patient, treatment should be started with 78.49% and conservative treatment with 21.51%. Conclusion: Mandibular fractures are still more popular in recent years.
