DINÂMICA RURAL DO MUNICÍPIO DE AMARGOSA-BA (2010-2016)

The municipality of Amargosa is examined from the perspective of the countryside-city relationship in order to understand the current dynamics of the municipality's rural space as a consequence of a natural process of transformation of these spaces. Since its formation as a municipality, Amargosa had in its socioeconomic and cultural dynamics the rural dynamics as a support and guiding thread, especially the profitability of the production of which they are still present today and make up the municipal GDP and a good part of the employed population. As a methodology, bibliographic material and statistical data were used, as well as interviews in rural locations in the municipality. It was concluded that the rural areas present in the municipality of Amargosa, expressed not only in the existence of agricultural economic activity, but also and symbolic expressions arising from the most diverse ways of life, still need effective policies for valuing this space, especially agricultural workers familiar.
