Objective: To report a case of a pregnant woman with von Willebrand disease. Method: Qualitative, exploratory, case report research. Data were collected in a public tertiary institution in FortalezaCE. The analysis of the information was performed based on the systematization of nursing care. Results: A 29-year-old patient, G2P1A1, diagnosed with type III EVD in childhood. In 2018, she became pregnant, being accompanied by the high-risk maternal pregnancy service and the hematology service in Fortaleza-CE. During the 38th week, she was referred to the maternity hospital for admission, where she remained accompanied until the pregnancy was resolved. The result occurred at 40 weeks through the abdominal route under spinal anesthesia. The cesarean section evolved without complications and the patient was discharged after seven days. It has been shown that, despite von Willebrand's disease being a worrying coagulopathy, and that hematological events with bleeding may or may not go through the pregnancy-puerperal cycle, as in the case studied. The relevance of specialized monitoring is considered, from conception to pregnancy resolution. Conclusion: The intrapartum and puerperium periods are the most critical moments, with greater attention from the multiprofessional team. The interventions implemented by the nursing team provided comfort, autonomy and security to women's self-care.
