This work aims to analyze the pioneering experience of full-time education in the private network in the municipality of Belém-PA: the Educational Center IBIFAM Foundation (1992-1997). The research used the qualitative approach. The first findings of the bibliographical and documentary stages revealed to us that the proposal of integral formation of children at the beginning of the 90's already contemplated the various dimensions of what is considered indispensable today for an educational project of integral education in a broader sense.
