A beautiful and harmonious smile shows itself to be important, being able to elevate the self-esteem of the individual, because the smile is one of the most evident ways of facial expression of the human being, being able to show joy, sadness, confidence and disapproval. One of the factors for the dissatisfaction of the smile is the lack of aesthetics caused by dental fluorosis, being fluorosis an alteration of the dental enamel associated with excessive ingestion of fluoride during the period of formation of the dental germ, originating whitish stains to brownish stains, depending on its degree of severity. In the odontological market we can find treatment options for dental fluorosis, such as microabrasion, whitening and resin veneers, these have their own characteristics for the specific degree of fluorosis lesion, because it is not any treatment that will succeed on this anomaly. In order to restore smile aesthetics, the treatment for dental fluorosis consists of various techniques, from minimally invasive procedures to more invasive techniques. Therefore, the best technique indicated for the patient is that which will bring satisfactory results for him.
