A square wave voltammetric (S.W.V.) method has been developed for the quantitative analysis of sodium nitroprusside (SNP), sodium nitroprusside gives a peak at (-0.592) volt against the reference electrode (Ag/AgCl/sat KCl) in phosphate buffer (pH= 7.0).
