A successful root canal therapy (RCT) depends on the accuracy of diagnosis, treatment planning, thorough debridement of the root canal system, three dimensional root canal filling, good coronal seal, and follow up [1]. The success of RCT can be evaluated by the clinical and radiographic outcomes . According to the quality guidelines from the consensus report of endodontic treatment from European Society of Endodontology 2006, the findings such as absence of pain, swelling and other symptoms, sinus tract, loss of function and presence of radiological evidence of a normal periodontal ligament space around the root indicate a favourable outcome [1].
