This research aims to determine the differences for mathematics representation ability between ATI teaching model with Open-Ended approach, ATI, and direct learning; determine the differences for mathematics representation ability between students who have autonomy of high, medium and low; determine the interaction between learning model and autonomy learning to mathematics representation ability. The type of research is quasi experimental by using nonequivalent posttest only control group design. The populations of research were all students of class VIII SMPN 4 Singkawang. The sample of populations of class VIII D, VIII H, and VIII G. The data were analyzed by using two-way variance analysis with unequal cells. The result showed that there is differences for mathematics representation ability between ATI teaching model with Open-Ended approach, ATI, and direct learning; there is differences for mathematics representation ability between students who have autonomy of high, medium and low; there is interaction between the learning model and the autonomy of learning on mathematics representation ability.
