Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is the most common primary malignant tumor of the liver. HCC metastasizes to anywhere of the body through the blood directly or by lymphatic spread (1). However, a literature concerning lymph node metastasis is rare in HCC. There are some reports of primary extrahepatic HCC (2, 3). However, there is no report of HCC presenting as primary thigh mass or report of that metastasizes to the thigh. We experienced a case of pathologically proven HCC in the right thigh, just below the inguinal area, without intrahepatic lesion.
