Evidence of an elm-feeding population of Rosalia alpina in thefloodplain forests of South Moravia (Czech Republic) ispresented. This and further records indicate that the CentralEuropean population is expanding its range and host plantspectrum; an alternative explanation might be the spread of theSouth European population northwards.
