This article presents a discussion about the labor of the artisanal fishermen, more properly, in order to apprehend the transformations of labor in this activity, as well as its particularities, limits and barriers faced by these individuals who live labor of artisanal fisheries in Ubatuba/SP. In this sense, showing the importance of geographical studies in this area, these craft workers committed to the sea, revealing how his labor (and lifestyle) are currently still very active, even though marked by conflicting processualities capital, which leads to their disorganization.
