The experience in basic education becomes challenging to the teacher in the present day considering that, over time, the students have been different in the classroom. As a teacher, I have reflected on this change, perceived in the mentality and attitudes of students within the school environment, and verified the importance of resignification of my pedagogical practices to achieve what in fact these "new" students need to learn. This work is the result of a Master's dissertation from the Postgraduate Program of the Taquari Valley University. It discusses the perceptions of a professor of science as a teaching practice involving the methodology of problematization with the arch of Maguerez. Thus, in this study the objective was to analyze the development of the Methodology of Problematization with a class of the 7th year in the teaching of Sciences.
