Official Development Assistance can be used by developing countries to enhance corruption or to fight against it. This article shows a model that combine both aspects and remarks under what conditions too much ODA can be pervasive. As other donors, Spain does not penalize the most corrupted countries giving them no ODA. Conditionality, channelling ODA through local NGOs, and inform the beneficiaries the exact quantities that donors have approved to them, are good practices that can dismiss the aforementioned pervasive effects.
