In this exciting election year, Northern California SOPHE is encouraging each member to vote and help others to do the same. Everyone is concerned about health care, education and the environment. This year is our opportunity to acknowledge the public’s political concerns and emphasize the value of public health, the effectiveness of prevention, and the impact of health education and training. Northern California SOPHE continues to send alerts to its membership on comprehensive health issues (just another good reason to be a member). As professionals, we know that access, equity, and health rights need to be guided by carefully crafted policies and the mobilization of community partnerships.
