Location Based Service Untuk Pencarian Lokasi Usaha Lokal Menggunakan Ionic Framework

Location-based services (LBS) is an information service that can be accessed by using mobile devices. It is equipped with the ability to find out the location of Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) and others through Global Positioning System (GPS) technology. Indonesia is the world’s main target to get consumers through the internet. This will impact on SMEs as the main source for improving the economy of the national society. In Bengkalis City, the location of SMEs and products are still searched conventional method through the store, supermarket or face to face. There are some businessman and businesswomen who already used online media such as Facebook, whatsapp, and others to promote their product. However, it has not given them an optimum impact to increase their income. More over, visitors had some difficulties in searching the location of SMEs. The goal of this research is to create an application for searching the location of SMEs through the LBS technology based on mobile and IONIC Framework. The application can provide some information for the visitors such as the maps, the distance, the estimation of traveling time and the advertisement of SMEs.
