Cet article s'interesse a la recherche collaborative d'information du point de vue des comportements et processus mentaux sous-jacents et poursuit trois objectifs complementaires : apres avoir explicite les enjeux lies a cette activite de nos jours et dans un avenir proche, faire un point sur les connaissances (et les non-connaissances) que nous avons quant a ces comportements et processus mentaux impliques; ensuite presenter les caracteristiques d'un outil technique innovant, simple d'utilisation, pouvant aider les utilisateurs « tout-venant » a realiser des recherches collaboratives d'information: enfin, demontrer qu 'il est absolument necessaire de poursuivre et de developper les approches pluridisciplinaires dans ce domaine.
