The standardization of the Subjective Scale of Interests and Vocational Aptitudes revealed that one out every four students in third and fourth grade in secondary education have vocational problems that, when they enroll in University, will give rise to private and public losses. Our young people manifest vocational trends of displeasure/inability in occupational areas related to agriculture, defense of the institutional framework, industry, mining-geology and chemistry and these facts could –in future– imply losses for the country’s productive, economic and institutional activities.
