Flame test required by SNI 7368:2011 states that gas stove flame shall still exist when exposed to air flow of 3 m/s. So far Testing Laboratory of P2SMTP LIPI applies convensional method in conditioning test chamber in order to get air flow of 3 m/s. The conventional method used is by moving the fan back and forth facing the gas stove lighter. This method has several drawbacks, such as: more personnel requirement during conditioning test chamber, more time consuming relatively, and unstable air flow due to relying only on default manufacture setting of the used electric fan. Therefore, this paper discussed a design of control system for regulating Arduino-Mega 2560-based motor DC speed in order to comply with flame test clause of SNI 7368:2011. Microcontroller Arduino Mega 2560 was used as CPU to program DC motor so that it would regulate fan blades for the purpose of getting air flow of 3 m/s. After several experiments from the designate control system, it obtained satisfying results, such as: shorter time in conditioning test chamber, the response time was faster at 18 seconds, less personnel requirement, and more stable air flow.
