The Potentiometry method for the determination of lead metal (Pb) has been validated. The purpose of this study is to determine the accuracy, precision, limit of detection, measurement uncertainty, and its application in leachate samples. Measurement of cell potential using lead metal electrodes as an anode and as a cathode using standard Ag / AgCl electrodes. Accuracy is determined using IM-13 Certified Reference Material (BAT) traced to SRM NIST-USA. The results showed that the potentiometric method for the determination of lead metal was valid with an accuracy of 97.81%, LoD 0.022 mg / L and LoQ 0.03 mg / L, 0.21% precision with RSD accuracy <2%. Lead levels in leachate pool samples ranged from 0.14 ± 6.39x10-9 mgL to 37 ± 4.34 mgL.
