Social linkages and their relationship to the adoption of good agricultural practices in coffee, using the social network approach are analyzed. Semi-structured questionnaires were applied on socio-economic aspects, adoption of good production practices and social relationships applied to 67 coffee farmers. Coffee producers have areas and average yields of 2.4 ha and 1.9 t/ha1, respectively. The practices adopted are related to crop management, pest control and use of new strains. There is a low density of linkages that indicate poor connectivity between producers, research nodes and suppliers. The structure of relationships under the current scenario, hinders the process of adoption of good agricultural practices by low linking to external sources of information.
